The Pursuit XLT is a result of combining the best features of the Pursuit LT and Pro models to give you a ton of features for a great price. The XLT offers you an Alloy, rust preventative, lightweight frame, new Quick Relief( recoil pad, ported barrels to reduce recoil and camo models will be equipped with our new Soft Touch rubberized stock coating for a sure grip with or without gloves. Regular and thumbhole models are available.

Traditions Performance Firearms, known for their extremely accurate and dependable muzzleloaders, introduces their new .50 caliber Express Double Shot O/U Muzzleloader.  For the past 20 years, Traditions Performance Firearms has been a dominating force in the muzzleloading industry and is now the first to offer a modern O/U muzzleloader.

Before the smoke clears, the second shot is ready to be taken.  The 24” blued barrel with a 1:28” twist delivers maximum stability for today’s bullets.   A quick release lever provides instant barrel priming.  The 209 shotgun primer ignition system offers optimum fire to the powder charge ensuring reliable performance. The mechanical double trigger system ensures second shot reliability each and every time.  Traditions PAS (Projectile Alignment System) guarantees consistent bullet seating for increased accuracy.  Equipped with a top tang safety and rubber recoil pad, the Express Double Shot O/U is also drilled and tapped for a scope, has fiber optic sights, sling swivel studs and an aluminum ramrod. TRADITIONS PURSUIT™   FOR FAST BREAK-OPEN ACTION

One of the most convenient and popular features of firearms throughout history has been the quick break action of the single-shot rifle or shotgun. Traditions Performance Firearms, offering the most extensive line of muzzleloaders in the industry today, brings you the feature of fast break-open action with their Pursuit.

The Pursuit line by Traditions includes models with fast break-open technology, similar to the single-shot rifle or shotgun: extremely accurate at long range; and easy to load, shoot and clean. These firearms are known for their dependable operation, well balanced and comfortable handling, as they have become the hottest selling muzzleloader in the industry.  To open, simply depress the action release button, located in front of the trigger guard, for ambidextrous use.  The 209 shotgun primer nipple is then exposed for easy loading. For added security, all models will be offered with a dual safety system consisting of a transfer bar safety and trigger cross block safety.

Traditions’ Pursuit break-open muzzleloader is available in three different versions: the Pursuit(, Pursuit( LT and the Pursuit( Pro. The Pursuit has a 26” barrel with a blued or matte nickel finish and TRUGLO® adjustable fiber optic sights.  It is fitted with an ambidextrous, Monte Carlo stock; half-Schnabel forend; PAS™ (Projectile Alignment System); and an aluminum ramrod with a unique, brass, loading jag. For a lightweight option, the Pursuit LT break-open muzzleloader features an alloy frame. At 6 ¾ lbs, this version weighs 1 ½ pounds less than the other steel framed models.

The deluxe version, the Pursuit Pro, has an upgraded 28” tapered, fluted barrel in matte blue or matte nickel with Williams® steel adjustable fiber optic sights.  Like the standard version, the Pursuit Pro utilizes PAS, for perfect projectile centering and optimal accuracy. This deluxe version is also available in .50 & .45 caliber and a 12 gauge black powder shotgun model.
